A revised "Digital Currency Law" has been submitted to the Russian government.

Russia's Finance Ministry has updated a law aimed at setting comprehensive rules for the Russian cryptocurrency industry. The ministry announced Friday that the revised version now takes into account the positions announced by other government agencies on the subject.

The completed draft bill "On Digital Currencies" has been returned to the Council of Ministers in Moscow. The legislation, first introduced to the federal government in February, aims to regulate crypto trading in Russia and the activities of crypto market participants. It was created to close the regulatory gap created by the adoption of the Digital Financial Assets Act.
